Who We Are
George Schneider
Founding Partner
Barrister & Solicitor
George Schneider is a Toronto based employment lawyer.
Graduated from the J.D. program at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law. During his time at Windsor, George was part of the Mental Health Initiative and Vice President of events for the Corporate Commercial club. In addition to placing highly in Employment law, George was nominated for the Fasken Martineau LLP Achievement in Contract Law and finished first overall in Construction law.
After 30 years in business, including a career in real estate and owning and operating a private Canadian corporation, George embarked on a new career in law. George has worked as an employee, independent contractor as well as an employer, and he looks forward to bringing these valuable experiences into his practice of law.
In his spare time, George enjoys playing sports, listening to music and singing. George is conversationally fluent in Hebrew, and Hungarian.
Ruben perez
Associate
Barrister & Solicitor
Ruben Perez is an employment lawyer working in Toronto, who brings a unique perspective to his legal practice, enabling him to better understand and assist his clients.

Ruben completed his bachelor’s degree in Political Science at Concordia University, Master’s Degree at University Artois in France, and Juris Doctor at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law. Prior to getting his law degree Ruben worked in higher education, not-for -profit and politics giving him a wealth of experience and the advocacy skills necessary to get the best results possible for his clients.
Ruben is very involved in the legal community. He started his law career by serving, as Chair of the Canadian Bar Association ("CBA") Student Section and as Board member of the Ontario Bar Association. He is currently seated on different national sections of the CBA and is a member of 2 national sub-committees, which are aiming to revise articling requirements and judicial residency requirements,

Prior to joining Beyond Employment Law, Ruben worked at a large Ontario corporation, where he honed his legal skills while solidifying his litigation abilities and legal acumen. Ruben has committed to providing effective and robust legal representation to his clients and helping them to successfully navigate legal challenges. Ruben is fluent in French and Hebrew and is looking forward to representing clients from different backgrounds.

Ruben enjoys reading, singing, community advocacy, continuous learning, exploring the city and collecting scotch whisky.
Jodi has two degrees from The University Of British Columbia. She is uniquely qualified for admin and social media management.

In her spare time she can be found singing, crafting and enjoying the outdoors.
